Tooth Bank

The human tooth biobank at the Faculty of Dentistry at Ribeirão Preto-USP is responsible for the collection, cleaning, disinfection, conservation, storage, transfer, loan and administration of donated teeth.

It aims at raising the awareness of the importance of the tooth as an organ in the community. It provides the necessary dissemination and promotion to foster, receive, conserve, and provide donated teeth for teaching, research and clinical purposes.

The teeth acquired by the human teeth biobank come from donations made by mail or delivered personally to the Human teeth biobank at FORP.
