Pregnant Project

This social project takes place during the Dental Day of Ribeirão Preto, held annually at the Faculty of Dentistry of Ribeirão Preto, University of São Paulo. The project’s proposal is to address oral health issues for pregnant women and newborns and to develop educational and dynamic materials to clarify myths and truths about dental care in this period of life. These activities aim to awaken the interest of pregnant women in maintaining their oral health, as well as promoting appropriate health practices in early childhood.

The actions are aimed at pregnant women assisted at the Reference Center for Women’s Health in Ribeirão Preto (MATER) and are developed by students of the Graduate Course in Dentistry in partnership with Graduate Students and Professors of the Graduate Program in Pediatric Dentistry at FORP/USP. Students interested in participating in the project must register with the Organizing Committee of the Journey.
