– HUMAN RESOURCES TRAINING CENTRE SPECIALISED IN DENTAL CARE FOR SPECIAL PATIENTS (CAOPE)

This centre, implemented by the Pediatric Dentistry discipline is made up of an area of 1100m2, and is used in the development of Post Graduation Pediatric Dentistry program activities (disciplines and clinical activities). Currently, this modern space has 20 complete dental equipment kits and 20 tablets with internet access to fill in patient medical records,the filing of radiographs and the recording of procedures carried out at each clinical visit. There is a sterilization room, an x-ray room with conventional x-ray and digital x-ray apparatus; (Eagle.ps – phosphor plate systems). There is an amphitheatre with a capacity for 40 people equipped with a multimedia projector. In addition, there is a meeting room with pedagogical support which consists of a television set that allows classes to be held with audio visual resources, conferences and web videoconferences. There are also teacher and student rooms.

– CLINICAL RESEARCH CENTRE

This centre was inaugurated in 2019 and is a specific space for the care of patients in clinical research. The research centre has 12 offices, separated by glass, air conditioning and special flooring. It follows the biosafety recommendations for surgical centres and freezer for sample storage. The centre was constructed and equipped with resources from the institutional technical reserve of FAPESP.

– CLINICS I, II E III – FORP/USP

The Faculty of Dentistry at Ribeirão Preto/USP has 3 support clinics to carry out practical activities in the Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs and to provide patient appointments. It is ample in size with 24 complete dental equipment kits.
