Sustainability

The Postgraduate Program in Pediatric Dentistry has implemented the following sustainability actions:- Distribution of reusable mugs/bottles upon students’ admission to avoid the use of disposable cups.

– Encouragement of the correct disposal of recyclable waste:
FORP/USP has several bins for recyclable waste distributed throughout the Unit, including specific bins for the disposal of paper, glass, plastic and metal.

– Encouragement of the correct disposal of food scraps: FORP/USP has a compost bin used to fertilize the plants located on the Unit’s premises.

– Encouragement of student participation in the activities of USP recycling at FORP/USP: among the activities, the exchange shelf and battery
collectors stand out for the correct disposal of these materials.
