João Pedro Darim Azevedo
Graduating in Mining Engineering from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo. He has experience in underground coal mines and spent a year as a consultant in South Africa, focusing on open pit mining. He is currently a scientific initiation student at NAP.Mineração / USP, where he develops practical activities related to artisanal and small-scale mining (MAPE), together with DELVE and mineral cooperatives.

Student of Geology at the University of São Paulo, he was a CNPq Scientific Initiation Scholar in studies of paleomagnetism of volcanic rocks and FIPT in research on remote monitoring of soil gases and vapours. She is an intern at Tarumã Exploration Mineral and works at NAP.Mineração / USP in supporting studies of responsible small mining.
