PGP 25 years

On October 2, 2023, in the Noble Hall of the Faculty of Dentistry of Ribeirão Preto of the University of São Paulo (FORP/USP), the 25th anniversary of the Postgraduate Program in Pediatric Dentistry was celebrated.

The celebration was marked by a day full of attractions, highlighting the presence of nationally and internationally renowned speakers. Among the speakers were Prof. Dr. Raquel Assed Bezerra Segato, Coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Pediatric Dentistry; the Prof. Dr. Paulo Nelson Filho, Director of FORP/USP; the Prof. Dr. Rodrigo do Tocantins Calado de Saloma Rodrigues, Pro-Rector of Postgraduate Studies at the University of São Paulo; the Prof. Dr. Higinio Arzate, representing the National Autonomous University of Mexico; the Prof. Dr. Heliani Berlato dos Santos, from the Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture (Esalq/USP); and the Profes. Drs. Patrícia Gatón Hernández and Esther Regojo, from the University of Barcelona/Spain.

The lectures covered relevant topics and provided an enriching exchange of knowledge. At the end of the day, participants enjoyed a social event at Famosa Pizza, ending the celebrations in a relaxed and memorable way. The celebration of 25 years of the Postgraduate Program in Pediatric Dentistry represented not only a historic milestone, but also reinforced the ongoing commitment to academic excellence and international collaboration in the area.
