XI Meeting of Empirical Research in Law (EPED) – WG Writing Decisions from Feminist Perspectives

From August 22 to 26, 2022, professors Luanna Tomaz (UFPA) and Camilla Gomes (UFRJ) coordinated the work group “Writing Decisions from Feminist Perspectives” at the XI Meeting of Empirical Research in Law (XI EPED), organized by the Network of Empirical Studies in Law (REED).

The participants discussed the recent approval of the Protocol for Judging with a Gender Perspective (2021) by the National Council of Justice and experiences such as the Brazilian Project “Rewriting Judicial Decisions from Feminist Perspectives”. In addition, the group sought to collaborate with the debate about the challenges of strengthening Brazilian academic production on feminist legal criticism and analysis of its use in judicial decision making.
