Instructions for Short Oral Session Presenters at ETRI

Each short oral session will last one hour. During this time, session chairs will introduce the topic and invite researchers to present their abstracts.

Before the Session
Presenters must check in with the session chair or an ETRI team member onsite 10 minutes before the session starts.

During Presentation

Format: All presentations will be given in person. Remote attendance is not available for short oral sessions. To support their oral presentation, researcher can use a ppt presentation, that was send until 31st October.

It is not allowed to change the presentation after this submission.

Duration: Each presentation should be between 3 to 5 minutes. The ETRI team will manage time for each presentation, and presenters who exceed this limit will be politely asked to conclude to allow time for other speakers.

Language: English is the official language of ETRI. While session chairs may allow presentations in Portuguese, presenters should be prepared to respond questions and comments in English.

Content Restrictions: Promotional material or advertisements are not allowed. However, each presentation should include an “Acknowledgment” section.

Note: During the Short Oral Session, all researchers must remain present for the entire duration of the session. Leaving the session is not permitted.

RCGI will provide a preliminary Book of Abstracts, allowing researchers and attendees to review the submitted abstracts in advance. The link to access the document will be available on the RCGI website.

After Presentation

Question and Answer Session: After all presentations are complete, the session chairs will open the floor for questions and comments from the audience.

Technical Support:

An ETRI team member will be available at each television monitor to provide technical assistance.
