Workshop on “Carbon Capture, Storage and Use, and Bioenergy”
The FAPESP Shell Research Centre for Gas Innovation (RCGI), the Institute for Energy and the Environment of the University of São Paulo (IEE/USP), and the Consulate General of the Netherlands are hosting this two days workshop on Carbon Capture, Storage and Use, and Bioenergy. The event will be held in the auditorium of the IEE/USP, in São Paulo’s University City, and it is sponsored by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP). The main purpose of the Brazil-Netherlands workshop is to discuss the experiences of Brazilian and Dutch universities with regard to Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS); Carbon Capture, Use, and Storage (CCUS); and Bioenergy with CCUS (BECCSUS), analyzing the need for these technologies to reduce carbon emissions and the challenges that exist for their implementation. The workshop is open to the public and the official Language is English. There will be no simultaneous interpretation.
