She holds a degree in Mechanical Manufacturing Technology from the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology. She obtained her master’s and doctoral degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the State University of Campinas, with a research period at Simon Fraser University in Canada.
She completed postdoctoral studies at Simon Fraser University, Faculty of Applied Sciences, and also at the Research Centre for Gas Innovation (RCGI) and the Physics Institute of USP (São Paulo), where she worked on a computational design project for nanostructured materials for greenhouse gas separation, involving membrane technologies.
During this project, she completed an internship abroad through the BEPE/FAPESP program at the Department of Chemical Engineering at Imperial College London. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Research Centre for Gas Innovation (RCGI) and the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo, focusing on nanoengineering strategies to optimize fuel cell components.
Currently, she is a professor at the Department of Mechatronics Engineering and Mechanical Systems at the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo.
