Project 29: HYBRID VEHICLE POWERED BY GASOLINE, NATURAL GAS OR BIO-METHANE

The knowledge to be acquired by the Laboratory of Advanced Combustion Diagnostics will be employed to assess the efficiency and performance of a hybrid vehicle powered by gasoline, natural gas or bio-methane. This Lab, together with Escola de Engenharia Mauá (EEM), the Institute of Energy and Environment (IEE) and SABESP, will be testing this hybrid vehicle and accessing CO2 emissions, both from a fossil fuel (gasoline or natural gas) as well from a renewable (bio-methane) source.
