Project 37: SIMULATION AND OPTIMIZATION OF CO2 COMPRESSORS AND MIXTURE OF CO2 AND CH4 IN THE SUPERCRITICAL CONDITION

The objective of the present project is to develop a computational tool to simulate the flow and heat transfer and to optimize the geometry of a supercritical CO2 compressor under the specified operating conditions. The present project also includes the optimization of the compressor sealing maze layout and the initial development of a compressor simulator for mixing CO2 and CH4 in the supercritical condition.
