Project type: Basic research.
Research goal: The main objective is to investigate the scientific and technological aspects of the electrochemical conversion of ethanol into electricity and hydrogen. In one of the approaches, fundamentals on the kinetics and mechanism of conversion processes will be considered. In another approach, experimental challenges related to the electrocatalytic challenges of electrochemical reforming of ethanol will be considered at low and high temperatures.
Partnership and financing: Shell Brasil.
