Welcome to School of Public Health
Founded in 1918, the School of Public Health, University of São Paulo, a center of national and international reference in the field of Public Health, has the mission to produce and disseminate knowledge and educate human resources in public health and nutrition by means of teaching, researching, and extension, contributing to improve the population health into a better condition, and formulating public policies.
The School of Public Health consists of five Departments: Environmental Health, Epidemiology, Maternal and Child Health, Nutrition, and Public Health Practice. The School is responsible for two undergraduate courses: Public Health and Nutrition. Also offers opportunities for graduate in five programs: “Public Health” (Master and PhD), “Nutrition in Public Health” (Master and PhD), “Global Health and Sustainability” (PhD), “Environment, Health and Sustainability” (Professional Master) and “Epidemiology” (PhD). Dozens of specialized courses are also offered in our traditional Summer school and Winter school.
