Laboratory of Studies and Extension in Social and Community Occupational Therapy

Objectives:

The objectives include developing funded research at the undergraduate and graduate levels addressing Occupational Therapy, communities, populations at social vulnerability, labor and Solidarity Economy, social determinants of Health, and Intersectionality. Results are identified through the significant number of scientific studies conducted within this research group with papers published and presented in Brazilian and International events.

To promote critical thinking regarding disability, care, and occupational therapy in territorial contexts.

To promote the development of public policies directed to individuals with disabilities, their families, and communities.

Participants:

Undergraduate and graduate students from the Occupational Therapy Program at FMRP-USP, and the research group members.
