Final Project

The final project is in the form of a thesis, deposited up to 24 (twenty-four) months after enrolling in the program. The thesis oral public defense will be assessed by a Committee that is composed according to the Regulation of the Graduate Program at the University of São Paulo.

When submitting the thesis, students must also present the publication (or proof of submission) of 1 (one) paper in a scientific journal, 1(one) book chapter, or 1(one) complete paper published in annals or collection of scientific congresses, co-authored with the advisor. These publications or submissions must be related to the results of the study developed within the program.

After approval, the student will earn a Master of Sciences degree, Program: Professional Master in Occupational Therapy and Social Inclusion Processes. The theses may be written and defended in Portuguese, English, or French. Further information regarding the final project is provided in the Program’s Regulation.

Note: After completing the program’s 24 credits (which must occur up to 12 months after enrollment), students will take the Qualification Exam.

At the time of the qualification exam, students present their research project to an examining committee that is composed according to the Regulation of the Graduate Program at the University of São Paulo.
